Winter Solstice Flow

Winter Soltice is a special time of year for many different groups of people, and has historically held a place in many cultures as a mystical time because the sun seems to hold it's place in the sky for more than one day, which only happens one other time of year...during the summer solstice.  In yoga, this time of year is celebrated by honoring the sun with 108 sun salutations, a number that also holds mysticism in many ancient cultures.  

This practice is roughly an hour and a half long and will consist of several variations to the tradiational sun salutation so the practioner can decide what body postures to explore during this special event. 

This will also be a donation based class and all proceeds will benefit the Butte Emergency Food Bank. Suggested donations $5-$15.
