About the event
Mindfulness can be a very useful tool to incorprate into our lives.  Science has shown, and keeps showing, that the benefits of practicing mindfulness helps us:Â
- Decrease stress
- Increase focus
- Improve emotional well-being
So how does it work? In short, mindfulness is about being in the present moment, and how one does that varies. Â This workshop will introduce you to the practice of mindfulness with various activities and how many people do just that...find a way to stay anchored in the present moment. Â
As a group we will particiapte in many short mindfulness/meditation activities and then unpack together the experience of mindfulness. Â The hope is that at the end of this workshop, a foundation has been laid for you to continue on outside of this space.
