About the event

Mindfulness can be a very useful tool to incorprate into our lives.  Science has shown, and keeps showing, that the benefits of practicing mindfulness helps us: 

  • Decrease stress
  • Increase focus
  • Improve emotional well-being

So how does it work? In short, mindfulness is about being in the present moment, and how one does that varies.  This workshop will introduce you to the practice of mindfulness with various activities and how many people do just that...find a way to stay anchored in the present moment.  

As a group we will particiapte in many short mindfulness/meditation activities and then unpack together the experience of mindfulness.  The hope is that at the end of this workshop, a foundation has been laid for you to continue on outside of this space.
